Easily accessible in 5 minutes from the hotel's beach landing stage, this singular land stimulates the imagination and plunges you into the heart of its shipwreck tales. The legend of the island comes from an ancient oracle served by nine priestesses, called Cènes by the Gauls.
Once aboard the boat, admire the wild Cape coastline with its beaches and sheltered harbours. Cross the currents of the Raz, pass emblematic lighthouses and let yourself be carried away by the illusion that the ocean is yours.
When you arrive, you'll be enchanted by this 56-hectare area, car-free, unspoilt and far from everything. Over the millennia, wind and sea spray have sculpted the island. Rough and treeless, it is covered with moorland, criss-crossed by low dry stone walls and dotted with pebbles. Designated a ‘Port of Heritage Interest’ in 2011, this small island is part of the Iroise Marine Park.
